Part Time - 64 hour per fortnight - To Commence ASAP
We are seeking a motivated Dietitian to join our supportive team on an ongoing basis for 64 hours per fortnight. The role presents an excellent opportunity for a Dietitian looking for variety and flexibility in their caseload and working hours. New graduates are welcome and encouraged to apply. Role includes regular mentoring and professional development opportunities.
You will:
Assess nutritional needs, diet restrictions and current health status of clients from diverse backgrounds and age groups Develop tailored nutritional care plans to address medical conditions like diabetes, food allergies, gastrointestinal disorders, hypertension etc. Provide consultations and nutrition education to individuals and groups on therapeutic diets, nutrition monitoring, lifestyle changes and healthy eating habits Closely collaborate with multi-disciplinary healthcare teams including doctors, nurses, therapists etc. to coordinate nutritional interventions as part of overall treatment plans To be successful in this role, you will need:
Tertiary qualification in Nutrition and Dietetics Registration with the Dietitians Association of Australia Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities Strong organisational and time management skills Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a coordinated healthcare team Passion for making a positive impact on clients' nutritional health and wellbeing This position presents variety in clientele and exposure to diverse nutritional issues and healthcare settings.
