Dietitian - Aged Care - Hervey Bay/Maryborough Area We are OSCAR Care Group and have been providing expert food safety knowledge and care for 15 years.
Our mission is to support Aged Care homes and Childcare centres in delivering five-star care through our Allied Health Services, Food Safety, Auditing, and Training because we believe our most vulnerable Australians deserve the best! We are seeking an enthusiastic Dietitian to join our incredible Allied Health Team and work within Aged Care homes.
Our varied and diverse caseload in the Aged Care sector ensures no two days are alike and will expand your knowledge within the field.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced Dietitian in QLD to support clinical services, quality improvement, and training for our clients.
Key details of the position: 1 day per fortnight in Hervey Bay for immediate start.
Work alongside our amazing team of Dietitians.
Provide high-quality one-on-one consultations within an Aged-care setting.
Experience and knowledge in clinical dietetics, preferably in an Aged Care setting.
Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with Managers, staff, and residents.
Ability and willingness to travel between client sites - generous travel allowance provided.
Provide education sessions and presentations as required.
Assist with the development of key resources and client information.
Flexible days and times to suit you – we all have life outside of work.
Assist with business development, menu reviews, and recipe analysis.
Working with our Marketing team on articles and social media projects when they arise.

Our Dietetic team comprises 20 amazing Dietitians nationally.
We hold monthly dietetic teleconferences for CPD, regular 1-on-1 sessions with the Lead Dietitian for support, and provide regular feedback for continuous growth as a Dietitian.
Selection Criteria: Relevant tertiary qualification in Dietetics and current membership with DA – Accredited Practising Dietitian.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to complete tasks within acceptable time frames and work autonomously.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Current full Driver's Licence and vehicle.
Current Police Check.
Received the most recent Flu Injection (or be willing to have the most recent Flu Injection), Covid vaccine x 2 and booster, and possess the relevant evidence.
