Prince of Wales Private Hospital is seeking a high calibre candidate to fill a dual Diet Aide + Food Service Assistant Role on a Part-time basis.
You will play a key role within a supportive team in ensuring high levels of patient care is provided.

Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to: Assist in daily food preparation and basic meal assemblyDeliver, serve and collect all patient food requirements and meal traysPreparation & stock control of supplement orders for the patientsChecking of food service trays for the lineFollowing up on diet issuesLiaising with the dietitians to ensure nutritionally balanced meals for our patientsAssist in general cleaning of kitchen equipment and utensils including dish and pot washing as required.Any other reasonable requests by the food service managerMinimum Requirements: Prior experience in a similar role within a Hospital or Aged care environmentKnowledge of food safety and hygiene requirementsDietary knowledge and diet code knowledgeCompleted Basic Food Handling Training (or working towards)Certificate III in Hospitality (or working towards)Track record of providing great service and customer experienceDemonstrate a great work ethic and attention to detailAbility to work autonomously as well as in a team environmentPassionate about delivering exceptional customer serviceRespect and work well with others to achieve goalsAct with integrity and show care for the people you work withEmbrace change and seek ways to improve serviceMotivated by personal growth and accountabilityWhat we can offer you Access to Unique employee benefits + DiscountsClose to shopping centre and public transportWhy Healthscope?
