Supporting the Manager – Maintenance Operations, you will be responsible for carrying out Engineering maintenance including scheduled servicing, breakdowns and fault finding on terminal assets.
This role requires the successful candidate to work a 9 day fortnight - alternating Day and Evening Shift Roster (Days 6AM - 2PM and Evenings 2PM - 10PM).
Duties include but are not limited to the below:
Ensure scheduled servicing, breakdowns, fault finding and planned maintenance duties are carried out in a timely, safe and efficient manner, in accordance with HPA policies and procedures.Ensure planned maintenance is executed to schedule and that servicing / breakdown maintenance is executed in a timely and efficient manner, and correct documentation of all spare parts is in accordance with HPA policies and proceduresEnsure safety issues and incidents are addressed and escalated in accordance with documented policies and procedures.Take action to identify, communicate and eliminate lost time caused by equipment issues.Important maintenance information is communicated in a timely and effective manner to management and the wider team where appropriate.Liaise and communicate with Operations Team where required.The successful candidate will have:
Relevant and valid Mechanical Trade Certificate, Cert III.Relevant and valid post-trade certificate in mobile plant servicing, diesel and or hydraulicsRelevant and valid post-trade qualification / statement of attainmentKnowledge and experience working with automated or heavy equipmentProven experience with Hydraulics and Diesel enginesComputer literate with good Microsoft Office skillsForklift license and EWP LicenseAbility and willingness to work at heights and in confined spaces.Strong communication skills with an ability to communicate technical information effectivelyBe a team player with strong communication skillsShould you fulfill the above criteria, please click the "Apply for this job" button.
