Conduct drill hole surveys and ensure the accurate recording of data, as well as collaborate with geologists and other technical staff to optimize the drilling processes.Drillers must have the ability to work as part of a team and supervise other staff involved in the drilling operations, providing training and mentorship to less experienced personnel.Diamond Drill OffsidersNo previous experience required.
Entry-level position, all training provided on the job.The Offsider assists the Driller and must be able to take instruction.
The role includes, but is not limited to, handling core samples, assisting with equipment maintenance and repairs.
Candidates must be willing to work in a physically demanding role.Offsider positions are based locally within the Goldfields, working 10.5 hour shifts, on a 6 days on 1 off 6 on 8 off roster.
