Whitsundays location Semi-productive role Strong remuneration package on offer Our client operates a successful multi-franchised dealership located in the Whitsundays region of Queensland.
They are seeking a Diagnostic Technician/Foreman to join their team and ensure the smooth day to day running of the workshop, while handling diagnostics for their sites.
You will also be training and mentoring staff to ensure the future of the business.
This role will be semi-productive.
To be considered for this role, the right person must be a trade qualified Automotive Technician (as the role is semi-productive) with strong dealership experience.
They must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, be computer literate, have a commitment to excellent customer service and have a strong ability to multi-task.
You must also be highly skilled in vehicle diagnostics, with both mechanical and electrical systems.
Key job functions: Provided expert advice to customers on technical issues Mentor, train and provide workshop support to staff Producing repair orders Attend technical training when required Works closely with all staff in the department, while reporting to the Service Manager Liaising with workshop to ensure time constraints are met Diagnosing of vehicle mechanical and electrical systems Assisting workshop technicians with technical issues Parts ordering Handling customer complaints Promoting a safe work environment Warranty requirements To be successful in this unique role, you must hold strong mechanical abilities, whilst also having the right nature to train and mentor staff and assist customers in understanding technical issues with their vehicles.
