(Pro Rata) RN/M4| Part Time 15 hours per week – Ongoing We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our Southern Adelaide Diabetes and Endocrine Team!About the role: Reporting to the Network Director, Southern Adelaide Diabetes and Endocrine Services and the Advanced Nursing Director, the Nurse Practitioner provides clinical nursing/midwifery expertise for specified individual patient/ clients and/or groups and/or patient/ client populations.
Duties for the role may include: Communicating client management plans to all relevant members of the health care team, including general practitioners and/or other agencies Leading and providing expert clinical care/advice demonstrating assessment, decision making and therapeutic intervention Initiate, develop and implement educational and/or clinical protocols/standards Provides leadership and direction, acts as a role model, mentor, consultant and resource person About you: Effective leadership skills including highly developed skills in communication, problem solving, conflict resolution and negotiation Registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate Authorised as Nurse Practitioner with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia Experience in the supervision of students, enrolled nurses and less experienced registered nurses and or midwives Proven experience in delivering high quality and safe care consistent with the National Safety and Quality Health Care Service Standards Please see the attached Role Description for additional information.Want To Know More?
