We are excited to represent our client, a renowned property development company, in their search for a highly skilled and experienced Development Manager / Senior Development Manager to lead a major project in Sydney.
About the Role:Our client is embarking on the delivery of a major business park development , and they are seeking a strong candidate to lead the delivery of the $80m ground and subdivision works.
This is a key position within the organisation, offering significant responsibility and the opportunity to manage a highly complex and impactful project.
The role will involve overseeing the end-to-end delivery of the subdivision and ground infrastructure works, ensuring the successful execution of the project from a design, engineering, and delivery perspective.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the design and delivery of subdivision and ground infrastructure works for a major development.
Oversee the entire project lifecycle, from planning and design through to construction and handover.
Manage a team of project engineers, consultants, and contractors to ensure timely and quality delivery.
Collaborate with external stakeholders, including councils and regulatory bodies, to secure approvals and ensure compliance.
Drive project budgets, timelines, and risk management strategies to deliver on key milestones.
Provide technical leadership, leveraging your expertise in civil engineering and subdivision design.
Report directly to the executive leadership team, providing updates on project progress and performance.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field (essential).
Proven track record in delivering large-scale subdivision and civil works projects (essential), with experience in business parks, industrial, or commercial developments preferred.
Extensive experience managing projects from design through to delivery , with a strong understanding of planning regulations, design management, and construction processes.
Strong leadership capabilities, with the ability to manage teams, engage stakeholders, and influence project outcomes.
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to represent the client's interests at all levels.
