Desktop Engineer – Geelong (Hybrid, 3 Days in Office) 6-Month Contract | ASAP Start | M365 & OneDrive Implementation Project About the Role Our client is seeking a skilled Desktop Engineer to support a major M365 deployment and OneDrive implementation project.
This hands-on role will involve working directly with end users to provide technical support, deploy solutions, and assist with the planning and execution of system rollouts.
Key Deliverables Deploy MFA (Multi-Factor Authentication) to end users and troubleshoot device upgrades.
Support device and O365 deployments and provide on-ground technical assistance.
Migrate data from Windows 10 to Windows 11 and facilitate OneDrive adoption.
Close out support tickets and ensure a smooth user transition to new systems.
Collaborate on deployment planning and execute assigned tasks efficiently.
Skills & Experience Extensive experience in computer support and troubleshooting in a professional environment.
Previous involvement in enterprise system rollouts is highly desirable.
Strong knowledge of iOS, token devices , and user authentication processes.
Ability to learn quickly and adapt under pressure, with a proactive and results-focused approach.
Excellent communication skills, with a strong emphasis on customer service .
Ability to work well within a team and manage time effectively.
Willingness to travel and adjust work hours as required.
