Project Management, testing, and development of new products to meet customer specification targets. Design and development of valves and other hydraulic / pneumatic products by applying experience and proven principles to achieve specification targets. Design Support Analysis and interpretation of technical specifications and standards Supervision and reporting of development testing Creation of Technical Files, Catalogue Data Sheets, Support Certification activities Write reports for both internal and external circulation. To keep abreast of Engineering developments on all aspects and particular materials, applications, testing and production processes. Engineering Drawings Production of detailed drawings and related documents. Checking of Engineering drawings and various related documents including reports.
Organising and filing of engineering data and records. Creation of development procedures. Business/Manufacturing Support CI activities to support improvements in Cost, Quality and OTIF including build and test efficiency. Analysis and reporting of products subject to warranty claims Provision of support to assembly, test department, manufacturing, sales, and customers Creation of production procedures People Management Manage Individual Performance & Development Mentor other team members as appropriate Manage team members when supporting self-projects. Carry out company HR processes appropriate for their role. Customer Relationship Management Direct contact with customers and suppliers on technical matters, including occasional visits off-site. Special Features/Skills Required: Project management, Test rig design/commissioning, Innovation, 3D CAD competence, methodical, report writing, effective communication at various levels. 5 years minimum Engineering experience including valve experience. Preferred, although not mandatory: Onshore/Offshore oil and gas topside/subsea hydraulic control valve experience, although training will be provided.
Qualifications and Skills Minimum HND in Engineering. Degree preferred.

Salary – £45-48k (DOE)
