ABOUT THE ROLE We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Medical Imaging Technologist (MIT) to join our Warrnambool site as a Deputy Site Supervisor.
Reporting to the Site Supervisor, you will manage day-to-day operational services, maintain high-quality imaging services, and provide leadership and direction to staff.
Key Responsibilities: Maintain a high-quality, efficient imaging service for patients and referrers.
Foster collaboration with Radiologists and staff.
Manage daily operational tasks related to imaging services.
Serve as a liaison between SJOG Hospital and Lake Imaging.
Assist in the ongoing growth and development of the organization.
Manage staffing rosters and leave for technical staff when the Site Supervisor is not present.
Key Requirements: Demonstrated leadership experience as a Medical Imaging Technologist, with team-leading experience.
Qualifications in Medical Imaging (Bachelor of Science or equivalent) recognized by ASMIRT.
Holds AHPRA registration, professional indemnity insurance, and Victorian radiation licenses.
Regularly participates in further education and continued professional development.
Ability to lead and work effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
Strong attention to detail.
Passionate and "can-do" attitude towards work.
