Ravenswood School for Girls is a Uniting Church Prep to Year 12 day and boarding school for girls located on Sydney's North Shore. Ravenswood offers both the HSC and the IB Diploma Programme as well as the Primary Years Programme in the Junior School. We are seeking to appoint a Deputy Head of Junior School - Wellbeing and Administration to support the Head of Junior School - Deputy Principal in the administration of the Junior School and pastoral care of its students.

This is a permanent, full time position and will commence at the beginning of Term 1, 2025.

To secure this role the successful applicant will have: Experience in integrating the principles of Positive Psychology to realise the vision for student wellbeing and a holistic approach to student care; The skills to ensure the ongoing implementation and development of the Positive Education curriculum and wellbeing initiatives in the Junior School; Enthusiasm for day to day operational management of a Junior School with a demonstrated solutions-focused and flexible approach to responding to needs as they arise; The ability to develop positive relationships and foster collaboration among teachers and key stakeholders; and A genuine desire to work in a committed and professional team within the Christian ethos of the school. Essential criteria: Qualification in Education and registration with NESA; Postgraduate qualification in Wellbeing, Positive Education or similar field; Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; and Ability to work proactively and collaboratively within a team.
