Metro South Addictions and Mental Health Services (MSAMHS) provide inpatient, hospital based and community mental health services in addition to alcohol and drug services to all age groups at a number of campuses across Metro South Health. MSAMHS is committed to the provision of services that are patient centred and recovery focused. Mental Health Services are guided by the Mental Health Act 2016.

About the Role The Deputy Director of Allied Health will provide expert level strategic professional leadership in the development, implementation, and evaluation of a multi-disciplinary strategy to embed and enhance the delivery of high-quality allied health services and evidence-based practice across the expansive and complex environment of Metro South Addictions and Mental Health Services (MSAMHS). You will:
Fulfil the accountabilities and responsibilities of this role in accordance with Metro South's purpose and objectives.Ensure patients and other staff are treated fairly with mutual respect and understanding, regardless of cultural, religious, ethnic, and linguistic backgrounds.Lead and manage staff by fostering and committing to patient safety and quality in the delivery of health care by maintaining and evaluating safety and quality practices and initiatives.Our values of Integrity, Compassion, Accountability, Respect, Engagement and Excellence, shape our culture within Metro South Health.
