The Opportunity
As Deputy CHRO, you will play a vital role in advancing QBCC's people and culture strategies.
Leading HR functions across Advisory, Recruitment, Business Partnerships, and Payroll, you'll ensure seamless HR service delivery and align initiatives with QBCC's strategic vision.
You will collaborate closely with senior leaders, fostering a positive workplace culture and providing high-level support to the Chief Human Resource Officer (CHRO) on key transformation projects.
Key ResponsibilitiesProvide strategic oversight across HR service delivery areas to support QBCC's objectives;Develop and implement people and culture initiatives aligned with organisational goals;Act as a trusted advisor, guiding senior leaders in workforce planning, employee relations, and change management;Lead HR policy improvements and ensure innovative, compliant frameworks and systems;Leverage data insights for strategic decision-making and enhance reporting to QBCC's Board.Required Experience
We seek a seasoned HR leader with extensive experience in complex, multi-faceted environments.
The ideal candidate will combine strategic insight with hands-on HR service delivery expertise and demonstrate resilience and adaptability in high-stakes settings.
A background in government or public sector environments, along with expertise in policy development, system improvements, and strategic workforce management, is highly desirable.
Relevant qualifications in HR, ER, business, change and project management will be highly regarded.
