Role Details The Principal / Senior Management Accountant provides high-quality financial and management services to business units of the Department. At the core of the South Australian Government, DPC undergoes regular change which means work is interesting and being adaptable is key. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a key SA Government Public Sector agency. We offer flexible working arrangements including working from home, part-time work, and compressed weeks (arrangements are negotiated with the manager). Multiple roles are available at the ASO6, ASO7 classification due to Machinery of Government and departmental changes.
Special Conditions The Incumbent will be required to participate in the department's Performance Development Program. The Incumbent may be assigned to another position at this remuneration level or equivalent. This role requires a National Criminal History check. About the Business The Finance and Procurement team provides high-quality financial and procurement services to Department of the Premier and Cabinet (DPC) business units and attached offices. Our Finance team provides services including corporate reporting, management accounting, and strategic financial management. Our Procurement team provides procurement and contracting advice and support to DPC staff at all stages during the procurement and contract management life-cycle.
