Manager, Naracoorte Regional Livestock Exchange The Naracoorte Regional Livestock Exchange facility is South Australia's premier livestock selling centre, with a reputation for quality livestock and consistent prices. The Livestock Exchange is a significant economic driver for the region, and in 2023/24FY, generated sales in excess of $140M.
As Manager, you will have the opportunity to lead a small team, and have a high level of interaction with key stakeholders at the Livestock Exchange.
You will be responsible for providing leadership and promoting a positive culture of strong performance, as well as preparing and coordinating a well-planned maintenance program that extends the life of Council owned assets in line with strategic management plans, agreed service levels and financial constraints.
Naracoorte is located in the Limestone Coast Region of South Australia. Approximately 330 kilometres from Adelaide and 440 kilometres from Melbourne and home to South Australia's only World Heritage site, Naracoorte Caves and Bool Lagoon Game Reserve, a wetland of international importance. It is central to some of Australia's best wine producing areas and within an easy drive of the seaside towns of Robe and Kingston.
