Salary: $109,099.00 to $123,395.00 per annum plus superannuation
Position Objective:
To provide information to a range of stakeholders supporting the implementation of programs and activities to facilitate and expand the development of the private forest resource in Tasmania in a manner which is consistent with sound forest and land management practice.
Promote private forestry within Tasmania and support private landowners with the provision of information enabling them to sustainably manage their forests for forest products.

Duties:
Provide information, assistance, training, and education to stakeholders, clients, Agency staff, and the public on matters relating to sustainable forest management on private land, for both native forest management and the development and management of plantations.
Prepare and conduct educational activities individually or in conjunction/consultation with other organisations to promote a commercially viable private forest sector.
Facilitate the development and growth of an effective, efficient private forest sector through cooperation with service providers, consultants, and the investment forestry sector.
Identify practices which are likely to adversely impact the long-term sustainability of the private forest resource, recommending and implementing appropriate remedial action.
