An exciting opportunity exists for a Dental Technician Advanced to provide operational leadership and management of the Caloundra Oral Health Laboratory team and co-ordinate dental technology services across multiple facilities to assist in the provision of efficient and effective dental technical oral health services for eligible patients of the Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Services (SCHHS).
Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service (SCHHS) is in southeast Queensland and extends through the coastal and hinterland areas from Caloundra in the south and Gympie in the north.

This position will work as part of the Caloundra Oral Health management team and dental laboratory team and provide supervision and management of 7.8 FTE dental technicians at the Caloundra Dental Laboratory.
Oral Health services are provided to patient groups that meet the eligibility criteria for accessing public dental services in Queensland.
Key Responsibilities include:
Demonstrate and apply advanced knowledge relating to standard and complex dental technology services and advanced skills with fabricating, repairing and relining dental prostheses and appliances;Provide advanced level technical advice to SCHHS Oral Health colleagues, managers and other internal and external stakeholders as required;Provide mentorship, guidance and technical advice to less experienced technicians and contribute to the development of dental technical competence.Remuneration value up to $157,359 p.a., comprising salary between $128,169- $137,918 p.a., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (HP4).
