About the Role Are you a proactive leader who thrives on driving efficiency, building strong teams, and delivering outstanding results? We're on the hunt for a Delivery Manager to take charge of our works program and lead a dynamic, multi-disciplinary team. Reporting to the Area Manager, you'll ensure our processes, systems, and resources are aligned to meet deadlines, budgets, and safety standards. This opportunity will be based out of our Glen Waverley or Keysborough depot.
Key Responsibilities Include: Managing Works Ready Coordinators, Crew Leaders, Field Staff, and SchedulersDelivering allocated work programs on time and on budgetManaging risks and safety issuesMaximising field resources and equipment utilisationLeading, supervising, and mentoring teamsReviewing actual activities vs plan, applying short interval controls and continuous improvement tools to eliminate recurring operational issues and drive productivityAbout You Your role will be pivotal in managing and mentoring a diverse team, optimising resource utilisation, and driving continuous improvement to eliminate operational hurdles. You'll be the linchpin that ensures our people are engaged, our goals are clear, and our performance exceeds expectations. You will also possess the following skills and attributes:
Cert III or higher in Power Systems, Project Management, or other relevant qualificationA minimum of 5 years working knowledge of construction, maintenance, planning/scheduling work, and operational techniques and standards as applied to electrical networksAn excellent understanding of HSEQ issues as they relate to the Electrical Supply IndustryAbility to make decisions, accept responsibility, autonomy, and accountabilityOutstanding problem-solving and issue resolution skills, as well as strong organisational planning skillsWe are a champion of equal opportunity employment and have committed to targets for gender equity and first nations representation in our workforce.
