Clicks IT Recruitment are currently seeking a strong Delivery Manager to work with one of our clients in Canberra.
You will be working within a large government organisation and will be focused on delivering a number of key digital projects.
Key Responsibilities: Manage the planning and delivery of large, complex projects including taking an active role leading process and procedure in the delivery of projects.
Manage tasks in accordance with cost budgets and advise relevant stakeholders of cost budgets for tasks assigned to contribute to business unit performance. Lead the identification of potential operational and delivery risks and the development and implementation of mitigation strategies to ensure service levels are maintained. Contribute to the development of systems, processes, procedures and strategies to implement government initiatives and communicate the outcomes to ensure the adoption of new systems, policies, processes and procedures across the business unit. Prepare briefings, submissions, presentations and develop business cases to support the achievement of business objectives. Provide routine and ad hoc reports on the operational performance of projects to highlight any trends, forecasts or risks that require management intervention and/or strategic solutions for further action. Facilitate workshops to agree on requirements, priorities, and work allocation. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, document, and prioritise requirements that align with strategic goals and develop detailed business and technical requirements. Contribute to the identification and implementation of process and governance improvement initiatives. Champion best practices and foster a culture of collaboration and excellence. What We're Looking For: Proven experience as a Delivery Manager in IT, specifically in digital transformation projects. Strong understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban) and project management tools. Exceptional communication and leadership skills.
