About the RoleThe Delivery Governance Manager for Institutional Data, Digital & Automation (DDA) is a specialised role within the Institutional Banking division, responsible for ensuring the robust governance of the DDA project portfolio. This role is critical in overseeing project delivery assurance, encompassing risk management, information security, compliance, stakeholder engagements, and the management of project artefacts. The Delivery Governance Manager will work under the Delivery Governance Lead to support the adherence to governance standards and facilitate the successful delivery of DDA initiatives.

What will your day look like?As a Delivery Assurance Manager, you will:
Manage the delivery assurance for DDA projects, ensuring compliance with risk, information security, and regulatory standards.Assist in the development and maintenance of governance policies and standards specific to the DDA portfolio.Collaborate with project managers to monitor adherence to governance processes and identify areas for improvement.Facilitate effective reporting and communication on project governance, risk status, and compliance.Support the preparation and facilitation of governance meetings and steering committee sessions to align on project delivery assurance activities.Contribute to the continuous improvement of governance tools, reporting dashboards, and best practices.Build constructive relationships with key stakeholders within project teams, business owners, and enablement functions.Prepare and present Non-Financial Risk assessments to stakeholders.Monitor the progress of DDA projects, ensuring they meet governance criteria and recommending actions for any deviations.Engage with Risk and Compliance teams to manage delivery and non-financial risk and ensure compliance with internal and external standards.Support the Delivery Governance Lead in preparing for governance meetings and reporting on project status.Review project artefacts for quality and compliance, working with project teams to maintain accurate and complete documentation.Collaborate with Quality Assurance and Audit personnel to conduct periodic reviews and audits of DDA projects.What will you bring?To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
Proven experience in project delivery assurance within the financial services sector, with a focus on data, digital, and automation projects.Strong understanding of risk management, information security, and compliance as they relate to project delivery.Ability to assess project data critically, identify trends, and manage project risks effectively.Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with teams and engage stakeholders across the DDA portfolio.A commitment to upholding high standards of governance, compliance, and project excellence.Proven ability to influence, negotiate and build strong, collaborative working relationships.Qualifications in project management, risk management, or a related field, with a focus on delivery assurance.Experience with governance frameworks and reporting tools in a global context, addressing diverse regulatory environments.Familiarity with change management principles and the ability to support the implementation of new governance practices.A proactive approach to professional development, staying abreast of emerging trends and best practices in project governance and assurance.Strong interpersonal skills, with the capacity to navigate complex organisational dynamics and foster a culture of continuous improvement.You're not expected to have 100% of these skills.
