About the role We have an exciting opportunity for a Decarbonisation Specialist to join us in either Sydney or Perth.
This role reports to the General Manager of Sales & Marketing and will see you possess a deep understanding and expertise in power generation, welders, compressors and related general equipment; with a particular focus on decarbonisation strategies.
In this role, you will:
Develop and implement customised decarbonisation plans in collaboration with key customers, leveraging a deep understanding of equipment functionalities and environmental impact. Conduct thorough assessments of customer sites to identify opportunities for decarbonisation. In conjunction with the Asset Department, stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends related to decarbonisation in the equipment rental sector, continuously updating knowledge and proposing innovative solutions and recommended pricing models. Provide technical guidance and support to customers on the selection, operation, and maintenance of decarbonisation equipment, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented decarbonisation initiatives/plans, analysing data and metrics to measure impact and identify areas for improvement. Develop and introduce regular workshops & feedback sessions between our Customers, Onsite and the OEM and develop reports regarding trials, trends or new technology. Degree qualified in engineering, environmental science, or a related field. Minimum of [5] years of experience in a similar role, with a proven track record of designing and implementing decarbonisation solutions in industrial settings. In-depth knowledge of power generation systems, welders, compressors, and other rental equipment, including their technical specifications and operational requirements. Strong understanding of decarbonisation technologies, such as renewable energy systems, energy efficiency improvements, and carbon capture and storage. Certification or training in relevant areas, such as energy management, sustainability, or environmental compliance.
