The Senior Officer, Partnerships and Engagement will be instrumental in delivering the Indian Institute of Technology Madras-Deakin University Research Academy by providing high-level administrative support and strategic advice to a variety of university stakeholders. You'll oversee the implementation of various programs, working closely with the Project Manager and relevant divisions to plan research workshops and events. As a Senior Officer, Partnerships and Engagement, you will:
Develop and provide the necessary documentation and reporting to support the management and coordination of the program and/or project. Prepare and monitor program and/or project schedules, resources, and provide progress and status reports and manage changes as they arise. Maintain accurate records of activities managed by the program and/or project team which may include, but is not limited to symposiums, workshops, partner visits, and academic events. Build new and productive relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders or key and influential individuals across the university. Communicate with confidence using examples and the most appropriate influencing technique for a given situation to increase understanding and support. Seek feedback on improvement opportunities from a diverse range of key stakeholders and implement change through appropriate channels and overcomes obstacles to change. To be successful, you'll have:
A Degree with subsequent relevant experience; or Extensive experience and specialist knowledge in Higher Education or a Tertiary environment; or An equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training. Experience in operating in a high-pressure, diverse environment involving face-to-face, online, phone and written issues. Experience in administration and related activities in a large organisation with complex administrative structures, policies and procedures preferably within the higher education sector. Experience collaborating with international partners, demonstrating an understanding of diverse working cultures, and adapting effectively to different contexts (Desired). Strong computer skills, with proficiency in MS Teams, Qualtrics, and Microsoft Forms, or ability and willingness to quickly learn new software programs. Here's how to apply:
