DDTS Telecommunications Policy Officer
Full-time TemporaryDetails: Digital, Data and Technology Solutions (DDTS) are seeking an experienced and energetic person to join our team as Telecommunications Policy Officer. The role will report to the Executive Branch Manager Technology Services and will work with government, industry, and community stakeholders to develop the Territory Telecommunications Policy encompassing Mobile and fixed line telephony, 4/5G and fixed wireless data connectivity, National Broadband Network (NBN) connections, CBR Free Wi-Fi and the Territory Software Defined Wide Area Network (SD-WAN).

Eligibility/Other requirements: The successful applicant will need to hold or be able to rapidly obtain an Australian Government Security Vetting Agency Negative Vetted level 1 (AGSVA NV1) Security Clearance.
Notes: This is temporary position available from 03 July 2024 to 04 June 2025, with possibility of extension and/or permanency. A Merit Pool will be established from this selection process and may be used to fill vacancies over the next 12 months. This position will primarily operate from a workplace designed for activity-based working (ABW). Under ABW arrangements, officers will not have a designated workstation/desk, However, flexible work arrangements including working from home part time, may be negotiated.
