The program process
Our Growth Program is broken into two key areas of growth:
1. An initial 6-months of training while you complete your studies (check with university contact if your work can contribute to course credits/internship unit) or while working full time as a permanent employee. If you are still studying you'll be recognised as a casual employee during this time and asked to work up to 3 days a week (on average) where possible, keeping in mind we are really flexible and happy to accommodate studies.
2. After your 6-months and if we feel as though you're a good fit, you will be offered the opportunity to join the Yellow Hat team as a full-time Graduate Consultant, ultimately fast-tracking your career
Essential criteria
To apply to our program, you must:
• Be coming towards the end of your studies or recently Graduated
• Be an Australian Citizen
• Be located in Canberra
• Have strong written and verbal communication skills
• Have a willingness to learn and have a go, no matter your degree background
• Be results driven, enthusiastic, positive and have a growth mindset
• Have the ability to work collaboratively in teams on a regular basis
Yellow Hat undertakes a range of work, some of which is to support Government agencies and Departments. We therefore require the candidate to be an Australian citizen and able to obtain security clearance.
Salary expectations
Casual student employees pay starts from $35/hour, permanent Graduate Consultants salary starts from $66,900 (including Super). In addition to competitive salaries, Yellow Hat offers a range of benefits.
