We are seeking to appoint a Database Project Analyst to play a crucial role in supporting the strategic planning and implementation of database initiatives for the EXCEL and SPRINT SARI registries. This role is essential in ensuring the accuracy, integrity and security of large-scale registry and trial data by developing and refining advanced data management processes. You will work closely with chief investigators, offering expert advice at both strategic and operational levels to enhance the functionality and performance of these critical databases. This position also offers the opportunity to lead the creation of project reports, supervise junior staff and make a significant contribution to impactful health research.In this role, you will manage complex database administration and data analysis, utilizing R-Packages for data cleaning, curation, and linkage of registry data. You will ensure optimal system performance, oversee incident investigation and resolution and maintain efficient data management practices. Additionally, you will lead continuous improvements in data quality, while assessing, analysing and managing changes within the database environment to support ongoing research and informed, data-driven decisions.We are seeking a candidate with postgraduate qualifications or progress toward postgraduate qualifications in data science, data management, information technology or a related field. Your expertise in managing large datasets, using REDCap and generating reports will also be highly valued.
