About the role: This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate with strong reporting, data and analytical skills to progress their career working with Business Systems and Operations.
As a key member of the Medical Indemnity Business Systems and Operations team and reporting to the Head of Business Systems and Operations, this role will support a variety of systems reporting needs, data quality management and assurance activities.
You will also work with leaders and team members across Medical Indemnity, Group Solutions and Group Risk to deliver systems and operational reporting, develop data frameworks, drive data integrity and provide insights to management to support decision making and operations excellence.
You will have strong communication and project management skills, an aptitude to understand the business use of various technology applications, a passion for data quality and the willingness to support the broader requirements of the Business Systems and Operations team.
Key responsibilities:  Identify and execute reporting needs, including collaborating with other teams across associated business reporting processes.
Develop reporting requirements, working across Medical Indemnity division teams to ensure these are developed, tested and deployed.
Develop a data quality framework across the divisions Business Systems.
Identification and ownership of data fields across Business Systems, driving ongoing data quality, exception reporting and remediation activities.
Analyse risk, incident and issues data to identify trends and insights to help business units manage their risk profiles and support decision making.
Support the Customer Resolutions Manager with complaints data analysis, review complaints trends, and ad hoc Complaints system administration (e.g.
ASIC data extraction or any other reporting extraction or analysis required) Skills and experience required: Desire to develop an understanding of business systems and relationship to meet business requirements.
This includes the intersect of technology, data, and business input and outputs.
A passion for data quality, data management and data linage.
Experience in operational reporting, including data reconciliation, plus an understanding of business rule application.
An understanding of risk and compliance frameworks, and their practical application in a business context.
An understanding of project management disciplines, including design, build and change management.
Strong relationship building skills and good communication skills.
Strong Excel and data analysis skills to derive insights and support decision making.
Ability to work independently, prioritise deliverables and use initiative to solve business problems.
Willingness to learn about key Financial Services regulations.
