JOB DESCRIPTION Job Description: This two-year contract role will provide critical support to the Strategic Revenue Management (SRM) team and wider Sales function and is a key contributor to the adoption of the SRM global transformation project.
This job exists to ensure the integrity and usability of revenue management data, which is crucial for informed decision-making and strategic planning.
The role involves managing and analyzing data to derive actionable insights, creating visualizations through tools like Power BI to communicate key metrics.
This role will support the SRM team in data management, data analysis, tool development, and maintenance, contributing to sustainable, profitable revenue growth for Mars Pet Nutrition & our customers.
You'll resolve data issues promptly and supporting team members with training and documentation to ensure effective use of BI tools.
Collaboration with stakeholders ensures that data insights are actionable and aligned with business goals will be key to your success.
What are we looking for?
Strong commercial, analytical and collaboration capability with the ability to build effective working relationships and motivate stakeholders both internally and externally.
Degree qualified, with experience in a blue chip FMCG/consumer products with an analytical background preferred  Strong analytical skills with a proven track record of working with data collection companies and ensuring data quality, coupled with the ability perform detailed ad hoc analysis, interpret complex data sets, and provide actionable insights.
Proven experience in a data analyst role or similar position with a track record of successful BI tool implementation and data analysis projects.
Prior experience in revenue management is preferred.
Proficient in Power BI with experience in deploying and managing BI tools.
Strong knowledge of data visualization best practices and techniques.
What will be your key responsibilities?
Data Management: Own and maintain revenue management data, including regular updates, health checks, quality assurance, and documentation of definitions.
Data Collection and Analysis: Collaborate with data collection companies like Circana and Quantium to integrate and analyze data, providing actionable insights to support business decisions.
Reporting and Visualization: Create and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI to visualize key metrics and data insights for stakeholders.
Address any issues and implement small improvements in existing dashboards as needed.
Issue Resolution: Identify and resolve data-related issues promptly to ensure data integrity and reliability.
Tool Adoption: Facilitate the adoption and effective use of BI tools by providing training, support, and documentation to team members.
Collaboration: Work closely with the SRM department to understand their data needs, gather requirements, and deliver solutions that meet their objectives.
Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in data analysis and BI tools and recommend improvements to existing processes and tools.
