About this role: Sirius College is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our Curriculum Department.
In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting curriculum decisions by analysing data, creating insightful reports, and managing curriculum-related administrative tasks.
This role is ideal for an individual who has a passion for leveraging data to enhance educational outcomes and enjoy working in a dynamic school environment.
Job tasks and responsibilities: Analyse curriculum and student outcome data to identify trends and influential factors.
Design and implement surveys, feedback forms, and other tools to gather key educational data.
Develop data visualisations, including graphs and charts, to communicate insights effectively.
Assist with curriculum administration tasks such as monitoring academic reports, assessments, and subject selection processes.
Manage and update databases within the school's student information system.
Collaborate with curriculum leaders, Teaching and Learning Coordinators, and Head Teachers to ensure data-driven decision-making processes.
Support the Professional Learning Communities website and department documentation.
Knowledge Skills & Abilities: Experience in education or curriculum-focused roles (preferred).
Proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas, NumPy), R, Tableau, Power BI, and Google Sheets.
Strong analytical and statistical skills.
Excellent organisational abilities and attention to detail.
Ability to communicate insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
A collaborative attitude with the ability to work both independently and within a team.
Commitment to confidentiality and the ability to manage sensitive data.
Qualifications & Certifications: Possess or willingness to obtain a Working with Children Check for paid employment.
