It provides Victoria's 24-hour emergency call-taking and dispatch services for Police, Fire, Ambulance and VICSES.

About the RoleThe Cyber Security Lead is a key subject matter expert and leader, reporting to the Director, Technology Delivery, Next Generation CAD.
The Cyber Security Lead will be responsible for developing and executing the organisation-wide Cyber Security programs aimed at improving how we protect our organisation.
The main purpose of the role is to deliver the Cyber Security program for Next Generation CAD transformation program. The Cyber Security Lead will own the delivery of targeted cyber security projects aiming to increase the Cyber Security maturity and manage Cyber risks across the organisation.
Day to day responsibilities include:
Provide deep insight into the technology options for achieving the cyber security initiatives within the confines of the technology environment and the available budget constraintsContribute to the design, plan and establish of the TZV Cyber Security initiativesDrive the delivery of the strategy for cyber security program including the technology uplift, controls and processes, skills development, business engagement and services to internal lines of businessActively manage cyber security partnerships across the business, ensuring strategic and compliance cyber alignment with statutory, legal, regulatorily, and internal obligationsDevelop and maintain effective relationships and networks across TZV and emergency services sector, particularly in the data and analytics space.About YouThis role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in Cyber Security uplift programs and experience in delivering collaborative solutions for mission critical environments.
We are seeking a candidate with a delivery mindset, as well as a keen eye for detail, resiliency, availability, and sustainability with the following attributes and skills:
Previous experience in technical security roles such as Network Security, Security Engineering, or Systems EngineeringExperience in the implementation and transition management of large mission critical data and information improvement outcomes within a government organisationUnderstanding of network security, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, and web securityStrong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with a wide range of stakeholdersA Tertiary qualification in Information Technology, Cyber Security, a related discipline, or demonstrated equivalent competency.What We Can Offer YouYou will be supporting a critical service to the Victorian community and will be rewarded with a competitive salary, flexible working arrangements and employee benefits including:
