Key responsibilities In this key role as a Cyber Security Analyst, you will lead the detection, analysis, and response to cyber incidents across Asahi's operations.
You will collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure the effectiveness of our cybersecurity measures and drive enhancements in our security posture.
Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to: Actively monitoring security alerts and managing day-to-day incident response activities.
Conducting thorough analyses of security events to identify root causes and recommend improvements.
Testing and tuning of existing detection algorithms and development of new detection and prevention mechanisms Proactive testing of security controls Monitoring of open source security intelligence to alert the business Providing technical leadership and support for security tools, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.
Promoting a culture of cybersecurity awareness and fostering collaboration between technical and non-technical teams.
Ensuring all operational, regulatory, and service-level security requirements are consistently met across the organisation.
About You To be successful in this role, you'll have demonstrated experience in detecting and responding to cyber threats, ideally within a large-scale enterprise or technology-driven environment.
You will possess a proven ability to engage and influence stakeholders at various levels, fostering a culture of cybersecurity awareness and collaboration.
You'll also bring: Previous experience in security operations, including incident detection, analysis, and response.
Hands-on experience with security tools such as SIEM solutions, endpoint protection, and vulnerability management systems.
A strong technical background in conducting threat assessments and root cause analyses to improve security controls.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.
A solid understanding of security standards and best practices relevant to cybersecurity.
