An interesting and exciting opportunity has arisen within a privately owned organisation with large and specialised facilities across a flagship precinct within Canberra. This organisation prides itself on its culture and unique working environment. The customer service officer vacancy is a crucial role representing the company in a customer-facing capacity.

Your new role

This role will be the face of the precinct and greet customers as soon as they enter. The successful applicant will work closely with the security team to report any suspicious behaviour, reporting all incidents and accidents whilst on shift. Other day-to-day duties will include:
Traffic management includes monitoring and controlling all ground transportation in the precinct. This includes vehicle presence at kerbside (pickup/drop-off), loading zones, pedestrian access, taxi, bus, VIP movements, and hire car operations.Direction of passengers and assistance as required (e.g., assisting visually or mobility impaired persons)Reporting of all notable occurrences to management (for example, media presence)Operation of all parking control equipment in accordance with training and experienceObservation of all security recommendations and protocolsConfirmation of ad-hoc parking requests from tenantsIncident & WHS Hazard reportsData entry as required for weekly/monthly reports.What you'll need to succeed Excellent written and oral communication skillsHigh delivery of service to all internal and external stakeholdersOrganisational and time management skillsPrevious facilities administration experience is desirableAbility to work autonomouslyWhat you'll get in return Free parking on siteSalary of up to $50,000 - $55,000 per year + Super + OvertimeFurther development opportunities across the businessAnnual performance & salary reviewsGreat company benefits in health and leisureWhat you need to do now
