Customer Service Officer  Continuing, full time appointment Professional Employee Level 4 - $66,471 – $69,264 pa Plus 17% superannuation and 6 weeks annual leave Alice Springs Campus Use your passion and customer service skills in the Community Connections team at Charles Darwin University.About the Position As the Customer Service Officer – Alice Springs Campus (CSO-ASC) you will provide front-line customer service for the University, responding to inbound enquiries from prospective students and their parents, current students, staff, and members of the public.As part of your role, you will deliver site-specific administrative services that contribute to the smooth running of the campus, including set up and issue of student and staff ID cards, issuing contractor keys and vehicle keys, mail management, campus stationery & amenity orders, managing Desert Lantern restaurant bookings and assisting with campus activities and events.The CSO-ASC also provides assistance with outbound current student communications for the University.Responding to requests from CDU business partners, students and external stakeholders.Based in the local Associate Vice-Chancellor team, the CSO-ASC will work across areas of CDU TAFE and Student and Academic Services to ensure current knowledge of CDU course offerings, key contacts, and processes as they relate to prospective and current students.About You To be successful, you will require: Education, training and/or relevant experience equivalent to completion of Diploma and/or Certificate IV in a nationally accredited qualification.Written communication skills, with the ability to respond to enquiries in writing and liaise with other teams across the University on sometimes complex cases.High level verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex processes or regulations, to provide clear information to customers and to communicate effectively and constructively with staff.Experience working in a team of customer service staff (in the vocational or higher education sector preferred), including collaborating to achieve shared goals.An outstanding commitment to customer-service for internal and external customers, delivering exceptional customer outcomes.To view the responsibilities of the role, please click on the: Position Profile.This position is subject to Charles Darwin University Affirmative Action Priority Recruitment measures, in accordance with s57 of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1992 (NT) 1992.First Nations applicants are strongly encouraged to apply & will be granted priority consideration for this vacancy.For information on Affirmative Action Priority Recruitment at CDU and how to apply, please visit https://www.cdu.edu.au/careers-cdu/affirmative-action-priority-recruitment  Remuneration  Appointment to this role will be at Professional Employee Level 4.The base salary will be in the range of $66,471 – $69,264 per annum.The total remuneration package will be in the range of $77,771 -
