Customer Service ManagerOur Boral Concrete & Quarries team now have a great opportunity available for a Customer Service Manager based at Norwood SA.
In this role, your primary objective is to assume full responsibility for overseeing the coordination and management of our fleet of concrete trucks ensuring seamless delivery of our products in the Adelaide metropolitan area. You will manage a team of 6 tasked with optimising business performance and service to our customers.
Your day will involve: Overseeing the day-to-day logistical operations of the Concrete & Quarry deliveries, ensuring efficiency and optimal performance.Collaborating with other areas of the business, aligning processes and communication channelsResolving delivery issues and ensuring procedures evolve with changing environmentsTake an active role in recruitment and development of team membersInnovate and implement strategies aimed at improving operations, with a focus on initiatives to reduce company costs, enhance retention, and elevate overall employee productivity.What are we looking for? Possess a significant amount of experience in a similar role with a focus on logistics and client service.Excel in fast paced environments and time critical decision making.Backgrounds in the Construction or Transport/Fleet industries highly regardedDemonstrated track record in implementing strategies to enhance process efficiency and operational effectiveness.Adept with systems, in particular allocations or planningStrong people management skills coupled with proven leadership experience.What's on offer?
