An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate and detail-oriented Custody Operations Associate to join a dynamic Asset Transfers team within a leading specialist custodian and administration services provider. What you'll do:


As a Custody Operations Associate, you will play an integral role within our Asset Transfers team. Your primary responsibility will be addressing clients' queries while also tracking and processing assets. You will work collaboratively with colleagues across different regions, demonstrating your ability to problem-solve effectively. Your keen attention to detail will be crucial in investigating and closing daily/monthly cash and security reconciliations. Above all, your commitment to meeting and exceeding service level agreements will ensure we continue to deliver exceptional service to our clients.


Addressing clients' and fund manager/registries' queries in a timely mannerTracking and processing of assets, income, rebates, and corporate actionsWorking collaboratively with colleagues in Europe as well as local registries and fund managers to problem solveInvestigating and closing daily/monthly cash and security reconciliation promptlyMeeting and exceeding service level agreements in line with client expectations



Requirements:

The ideal candidate for the Custody Operations Associate role brings along at least two years of experience in the financial industry in operations or a similar role. They have a solid understanding of financial and accounting concepts which they apply effectively in their day-to-day tasks. Their communication skills are top-notch, enabling them to interact professionally with various stakeholders. They are known for Their sense of urgency, excellent time management skills, problem-solving abilities, and capacity to work under pressure while maintaining accuracy.Minimum two years' experience in the financial industry in operations or a similar roleGood understanding of financial and accounting conceptsEffective and professional communicator both written and verbalSense of urgency and good time management skillsProblem solver, identifies and suggests solutions to problemsAbility to work under pressure and meet deadlines with accuracyAboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples are encouraged to apply.
