Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Advisor for Client Onboarding to join their dynamic team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing new client onboarding requests, providing pre-onboarding advice, and acting as a subject matter expert in relation to new account opening.
This includes Know-Your-Customer (KYC) and Source-of-Wealth (SoW) profiling.
Responsibilities: Serve as the single point of contact for Front Office on new client onboarding requests Provide pre-onboarding advice to Relationship Managers to enable the business to get it right first time Act as Subject Matter Expert to the Front Office related to new account opening Attend to the Source-of-Wealth requirements for Low and High Risk accounts Perform an independent initial review of account opening documentation and SoW write-ups Escalate higher risk matters or regulatory questions to the Financial Crime Prevention team Take ownership of relevant procedural documentation and ensure procedures are updated on a timely basis Requirements: Strong knowledge of KYC and SoW profiling Ability to provide effective pre-onboarding advice Experience working with high-risk accounts Strong understanding of regulatory, policy, and procedural requirements Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with various stakeholders Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples are encouraged to apply.
