The role
We're excited to welcome a dynamic Assistant Project Manager (APM) to our team in Sydney, where you'll have the opportunity to work on impactful projects and grow your career with us.
Based in Sydney CBD, you will work directly with our experienced Project Director on education & commercial projects, assisting on the day-to-day requirements of the project in accordance with our contracted scope and Integrated Management Systems.
You are the safe pair of hands on the project under the leadership of the Project Director.
Tasks include:
Assisting the design process to achieve the client's requirements and manage expectations Assisting with tenders to appoint external contractors and consultants Reviewing project plans and specifications, scheduling, cost-saving measures, discrepancies, potential construction problems, etc.
Managing project timelines, risks, and reporting Attending project meetings with clients and consultants - ensuring minutes are recorded Project administration, in line with our ISO 9001-2016 accreditation 1 year plus experience in project management, ideally in a client-side consulting role A degree in Construction Management, Building Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or Architecture or a related field Understanding of the client-side project management role Exemplary written and verbal communication skills Organised and diligent, with a desire to learn from the more senior members of the team Australian Citizenship or Permanent Australian Residency What We Offer:
