The role The Configuration and Data Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing the Configuration Management practices and systems for the CSI-IPT. The successful incumbent will oversee the Configuration Management (CM) and Data Management (DM) team covering all CSI programs in accordance with the processes in the CMSP. They will also be responsible for CSI-IPT engagement with each of the CDM functions within the partner' organisations. Further, the successful candidate will: Engage with CSI program's (Hobart and Hunter) CM teams and drive improvement of CM processes to achieve commonality. Oversee and ensure CM activities are carried out in accordance with program's Configuration Management Plans (CMPs) and the CSI-IPT Management System Plan (CMSP). Responsible for managing interface with key stakeholder of the CSI-IPT including partner organisation and the CoA customer. Oversee preparation and delivery of CM deliverables to the Customer, and the receipt and processing of data deliverables from Suppliers, Subcontractors or the Customer. Participates in program's milestones and enable process to facilitate review and/or approval of materials for major program review and milestone activities. Oversee CM audit schedules with reference to the program schedules, including FCA, PCA and Quality audits of CM. Flexible work arrangements such as hybrid work from home / office and 9 day fortnight will be considered for this role. About you Your skills and experience will include: Relevant Defence industry experience in project based team or engineering management environment Experience with IFS Applications - Enterprise Solutions or similar tools Experience of specialist configuration management tools and/or engineering data management systems, and in training users on said tools/systems Proven ability in effective internal customer liaison and demonstrated experience in complex task management As Defence security clearance is required for this role, applicants must be Australian citizens and eligible to obtain and maintain an NV1 clearance.
