Catholic Schools Broken Bay (CSBB) is welcoming applications for a passionate and innovative Sport Operations Coordinator (K-12). CSBB is offering sporting pathways for primary and secondary students while maintaining the understanding of and commitment to the diverse sporting, academic and welfare needs of all students.
This is a permanent full-time opportunity.
Reporting to the CSBB Sport Leader (K-12), you will work within a dynamic and passionate team to develop, promote and coordinate sport programs across all schools in the diocese and assist in shaping a culture of collaborative continuous improvement in supporting and taking forward our "Towards 2025" strategy objectives.

About the Role Implement relevant recommendations of the Sport Improvement Enquiry Report and the significant change process to embed a re-imagined approach to pathway and non-pathway sportImprove efficiency across the primary and secondary sport program with a future-focused mindsetOrganise and attend pathways and non-pathways sport eventsCoordinate and oversee all event officials' selection, deployment and effectivenessServe as a central point of contact for staff, parents, students and other stakeholdersServe as CSBB sport representative at an Inter-diocesan level as delegatedManage sport budget within delegation, develop and maintain professional relationship with Financial Viability and manage purchasing requirementsExpertly perform complex administration and online requirements of sport operationsAbout You Supportive of, or can demonstrate an understanding and commitment to, the ethos of the Catholic faith in an educational context Working understanding of school operationsDeep understanding of pathway sport and non-pathway sportUnderstanding the connections between strategic goals and operational activitiesApplies project and change management methodologies and work in a continuous improvement and coaching cultureHas a keen eye for detail to deliver consistently accurate and informed written and verbal communications suitable for the receiving audienceWorks with the stakeholders to serve their needs and requirementsIs energised by working in a fast-paced environmentIs adaptive and responsive to change and can adapt to working under pressure and re-prioritising tasksGood level of IT knowledge, working with excel, word and PowerPoint, Online conference experience, social media and promotionHigh level of time management and organisational skills and capacity to work effectively within tight time constraintsQualifications and Accreditation Relevant teaching, sports administration, coaching (or similar) qualification/accreditationExperience in sport operations management – preferably in a school setting would be an advantageHighly flexible and available to varying work timings and requirementsValid Working with Children Check Current NSW Driver's Licence (and own car required)Current First Aid and CPR accreditations Application Process Applications should include:

Given the current management of risks associated with COVID-19 in the community, and the gradual wind-back of some settings, CSBB has decided to no longer require all staff to be fully vaccinated, effective 19 September 2022. Staff who are not vaccinated will be required to wear masks when working with children at greater risk of serious illness owing to a medical condition and/or physical disability.
