Mater Mothers' Hospitals currently have an exceptional opportunity available for a Credentialed Diabetes Educator for 64 hours per fortnight for 12 months Maternity leave cover (with the possibility of extension) commencing 27th January 2025 through to 25 January 2026. We are seeking a dynamic and innovative CDE with exceptional leadership and communication skills to work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team providing care for women with diabetes in pregnancy. The successful applicant will have a clear understanding of evidence-based practice and care of women with diabetes through pregnancy and postnatal periods.
About you To be successful in this role you will possess:
Tertiary qualifications in Diabetes EducationCurrent credentialing with Australian Diabetes Educators Association (ADEA)High level organisational skills and the ability to work as a multi-functional team memberStrong clinical leadership and management skillsCompetence with education and support for women with diabetesFor further information, please contact Dr Jo Laurie, Director, Mater Obstetric Medicine Department on 3163 8844.
