We are currently seeking a Creative Industries Lead to join a small but dynamic team within the Arts and Libraries Branch. The branch consists of Creative Industries, Festivals and Events, the Museum of Australian Photography, and the Monash Public Library Service.

Through our programs and partnerships, we strive to embed arts in our everyday and deliver new, innovative, exciting arts and cultural services and experiences for all.

In this role you will Build relationships across council, community, business organisations, and government agencies that promote opportunity, enhance participation, and collaborative efforts that build capacity and showcase local creative industries.Build and strengthen local, regional, state, and national government creative networks to deliver strategic partnerships that enhance the local creative sector.Proactively seek and secure grant funding and sponsorship to support delivery of creative initiatives across the City of Monash.Drive delivery of Council's Public Art policy and work with external partners and creative industries to plan for future opportunities for Public Art.Foster opportunities for professional development and growth across the local arts community and creative sector.Lead operational and strategic development of initiatives which provide resources and program opportunities that meet creative industry needs now and into the future.The ideal candidate will have a qualification in Arts/Cultural Management or equivalent with significant experience working in innovative and creative industries. They will bring fresh ideas, creative direction, and a strategic perspective that inspires our team and makes an impact across the City of Monash.
