Corporate Office and Events AssistantMars Recruitment location: SydneySalary: $80,000 – $90,000 per year.We are thrilled to announce our collaboration with the client in the search for a permanent Office Assistant to join a thriving business located in Sydney CBD. The client, a renowned Tech firm, boasts a fantastic culture rooted in success and collaborative work. This role will be based at the Front desk and reports to the Office Manager.The individual will become a part of a four-member team, tasked with overseeing the seamless operation of the office. Their responsibilities will include event management and coordination, extending a warm welcome to staff, guests, and clients, and overseeing the management of facilities.Key Responsibilities:Ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the Sydney office, including facilities, amenities, and building management requests.Maintain cleanliness and presentation of visitor arrival areas, kitchen, and common areas.Cater and order office supplies such as stationery, kitchen items, food, and beverages.Greet visitors and clients, assisting them as required.Ensure meeting rooms are set up correctly for meetings, including providing water and coffee.Monitor general inquiries inboxes and distribute emails to relevant recipients.Coordinate with building reception to provide access to guests via an online system.Assist staff with meeting room bookings and team facilitation.Coordinate events and assist with printing and binding of presentation packs when required.Manage bookings of the company car and coordinate courier services.Receive and distribute mail and deliveries, and order business cards as required.Assist with team and social events and ad hoc administrative tasks.We are looking for a positive-minded, self-starter who prides themselves on being a team player but also has the ability to succeed in working independently.
