About the Job Lead the development and implementation of governance and assurance frameworks to ensure ethical leadership, integrity, and transparency at SA Water. This critical role will drive contemporary governance practices and provide trusted assurance systems that strengthen public confidence in SA Water's operations.
About Business Insights and Excellence The Business Insights and Excellence group drives operational excellence by enabling best business practices, economic pricing, supply chain management, and performance optimisation to support the broader business and partners in delivering reliable, cost-effective, sustainable, and future-focused outcomes.
Your responsibilities for this opportunity Seek opportunities to improve and embed SA Water's Governance and Assurance Frameworks into operations.Provide strategic advice on governance, assurance, and risk management processes.Oversee responses to AuditSA and support the annual Internal Audit Program.Ensure Corporate Governance Management Systems are current, functional, and audited effectively.Lead and develop a collaborative, high-performing governance and assurance team.Your success in this role will come from: Proven experience in leading governance or assurance functions.Strategic thinking and decision-making skills in complex environments.Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.Relevant qualifications (law, accounting, internal audit, or public policy) and membership eligibility with the Institute of Internal Auditors.Ability to lead management system certification and promote continuous improvement.To apply, click 'Apply'.
