Corporate Development Manager - Infrastructure

Corporate Development opportunity with a listed groupResponsibility for deal origination and execution, strategy and investment managementSydney based roleOur client is a diversified corporate with several operating companies, which are leading some of the biggest infrastructure and construction projects in the region.
With growing demand for their services in the energy transition sector in particular, they are looking to appoint a Corporate Development Manager to their busy M&A and investments team.
This team covers all major transactions for the Group, as well as strategy, investment management and driving performance across the operating businesses.
Working as part of this small but high-profile team within the organisation, you will support senior leadership with major M&A transactions, managing the investment portfolio, joint ventures and strategic partnerships, as well as assisting with the group strategy and strategy execution.
Key responsibilities include providing analytical support for investment, divestment and acquisition decisions through research, building financial models, due diligence and stakeholder engagement.
A proven track record of working on M&A transactions, strong technical skills and the ability to build relationships and influence a variety of stakeholders are essential for this role.
We feel this role will suit a M&A professional, with c.5-6 years experience from a top tier investment bank, corporate development team, or investment management, who wants to work for a diverse and active business, with a healthy deal pipeline and lots of exposure to senior decision-makers.
