Join a prominent independent statutory body as a Corporate Accountant.
This unique opportunity allows you to become part of a small, close-knit team, working directly with the Head of Finance and the Financial Controller. You'll have the chance to enhance your skills and grow your career while participating in various ad-hoc projects.
This role is ideal for a qualified accountant eager to learn and contribute to a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities include: Support finance team with timely reporting, complete end-of-month journals, and reconcile balance sheet accounts.Track payments and expenditures, reconcile processed work, and verify accounting entries for accuracy.Accounts Payable and Receivable Management. Ensure integrity of financial data, raise invoices, manage accounts inbox and invoices database, process approved invoices, and handle staff/vendor queries.Prepare cash flow forecasts, propose fund transfers, and ensure compliance with accounting standards and statutory requirements.Assist the Financial Controller with internal audits and preparing BAS and FBT returns.Skills: CA or CPA qualified essential.Solid understanding of accounting with excellent bookkeeping and data entry skills, developed through a minimum of 2 years post-qualification experience in a corporate environment.Advanced Excel skills.Strong reasoning, analytical and problem-solving skills, and willingness to learn.Apply today, as the client is conducting interviews next week!
