About the role: Reporting into Senior Manager – HSE Management Systems, Insights, Capability & Programs as Coordinator HSE Programs & Training you will play a crucial role in both providing operations support on HSE Competency and Training Programs and support in management of HSE Programs and Communications.
You'll play a key part in ensuring the successful delivery of competency-based training across Origin, while working closely with Senior Coordinator – HSE Programs & Reporting on delivery of enterprise-wide HSE programs.
Key responsibilities: HSE Programs Design and Delivery: Assist in designing and delivering core HSE cyclical events and enterprise-wide programs like Safety Month, HSE Awards, Health & Wellbeing initiatives, and seasonal hazard campaigns, ensuring alignment with organisational objectives.HSE Reporting and Communications Management: Assist in managing HSE reporting cycles, including timely collection, analysis, and submission of critical reports, while also managing HSE communications through platforms like SharePoint, newsletters, and responding to inquiries.Training and Competency Administration: Oversee the administration of the learning management system and contractor systems, ensuring accurate competency profiles, tracking of training records, and competency assessments, as well as forecasting and scheduling training to avoid non-compliance in consultation with business units.Vendor and Contract Management Support: Provide support in contract and vendor management for HSE services, including managing purchase orders (POs) and invoicing, and coordinating with external training providers and internal stakeholders for training logistics.Process Improvement and Compliance: Identify problems and provide relevant information to Management for problem resolution, ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements, and demonstrate behaviours aligned with organisational values for a safe and compliant work environment.What will you bring? Demonstrated experience in coordinating and managing HSE programs or initiatives, including planning, execution and monitoring progress.Experience in managing multiple HSE related cyclical projects/programs and activities, ensuring they meet deadlines and align with organisational goals.Strong Organisational Skills: Ability to manage multiple projects and activities simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met and resources are effectively allocated.Effective Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills to facilitate collaboration between HSE team members, stakeholders, and external partners.Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and e-learning platforms desirable.
