About the role The City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder is seeking an experienced, dynamic leader to oversee our Community Development Team. This key role focuses on driving community wellbeing, youth engagement, club development, and the Community Assistance Scheme. Duties Key responsibilities include: Lead the planning and execution of impactful programs with stakeholders to enhance community development. Oversee strategic and operational initiatives aligned with the City's community goals. Represent the City in committee and network meetings. Lead the implementation of the Community Assistance Scheme and develop operational and budget strategies for top-quality service delivery. Who we are Looking for: To be considered for this position, you will need: Relevant tertiary qualifications or extensive experience in Youth, Sports, or Recreation Management. Strong financial management, report writing, and budget skills. Experience in community engagement, youth initiatives, and event planning. Exceptional communication, negotiation, and teamwork skills. A current Working with Children Check, First Aid Certificate, National Police Clearance, and WA "C" Class driver's license are required.
