Our Out of School Care service, located in Bardon on the grounds of St Joseph's Primary School, offers a supportive, welcoming environment for children through strong partnerships with the local parish and school. At St Joseph's Outside School Hours Care, we provide both before and after school care for up to 59 children.
Key Responsibilities: Manage day to day operations of the service including staffing, administration and financial management tasks.Oversee the delivery of a high quality, inclusive and educational program.Provide children with a safe, secure, welcoming and nurturing environment.Work collaboratively within an established team to ensure the best outcomes for children and families.Promote the service within the local community in accordance with the Vision, Mission and Values of Catholic Early EdCare.Job Requirements:Diploma in Children Services or equivalent as per ACECQA guidelines.Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card), First Aid, CPR, Asthma/Anaphylaxis.A strong understanding of Child Care legislation including the National Quality Framework, National Quality Standards, and My Time Our Place.Effective computer skills including experience with childcare management software.Proven leadership and team development skills.Benefits:Leadership Days – All Service Leaders come together offsite for networking and professional development!Leadership Program – That supports you on your leadership journey!POD's – Be part of a POD where you can access your Peers for support and guidance.CEEC Councils (Quality, Safety and Leadership) – Service Leaders form our councils and consult and endorses changes before they're launched.
