About the role A current Forklift Licence is essential.Ensure that harvest priority list is aligned to the customer orders and provided to the harvest manager.Accurate stock takes of cool room stock.Daily stock rotation.Labelling and general despatch paperwork is accurate and completed.Temperature controls and records are accurate.Shelf-life testing samples are isolated and controlled.Transport deadlines are met.Forklift driving to ensure that stock is suitably located and stored.
Load and unloading of trucks.SOPs for loading and unloading are strictly adhered to.Communications with transport (both internal and external) are effective.Maintenance of cool room and hygiene.Assist in general operational management to ensure DIFOT.Conduct traceability as required.Respond to customer and QC controls.Provide random sampling as required.Full training in a supportive environment is provided to all new candidates along with weekly pay.Own reliable transport is essential.If you're ready to make a meaningful impact here with us at Marland Mushrooms, we want to hear from you!
