Permanent part-time opportunity to assist in the provision of a high-quality nutrition and food service by ensuring the production and presentation of high-quality and accurate food items for patients/clients of Redcliffe Hospital.
About you Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
Responsible for the production and presentation of high-quality and accurate food items for patients and clients of Redcliffe Hospital. Responsible for direct supervision and assistance of staff in the carrying out of operational duties, especially in the production and distribution areas. Assist with ensuring the compliance of Redcliffe Hospital Food Services with food hygiene regulations and safe food handling practices. Maintain accurate records including temperature monitoring, goods receipting, and cleaning schedules. Participate in the Nutrition and Food Service Management Team and function as an effective team member including providing training to new staff. Health Equity It is expected that all Metro North Health staff, including the incumbent of this role, contribute to the health equity agenda and meet the intent of supporting the defined six actions that specifically meet the needs of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people within the National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards (NSQHS).
